Higabra Catering

This undertaking in the Higabra village, where our Buriticá Mine is located, became a supplier of food since last April 8.

It is part of our Productive Chain Program (PEP) and brings together the talent of women from 5 restaurants in the village.

Serviaseo Doré

Serviaseo Doré is also a Buriticá venture that provides its toilet and cafeteria service in our mining complex.

This new production unit is made up of 6 female heads of household from the village of Higabra and the village of El Naranjo.

They are accompanied by our Productive Chain Program (PEP).

Cafes from the
West to China

  • In 2020, six coffee brands from the West of Antioquia participated in the CIIE Import Fair, in Shanghai (China).
  • In May 2021 they participated in the “3rd Western China International Trade and Investment Fair” in Chongqing, China.
  • From November 5 to 10, 2021, eight coffee brands from the West of Antioquia participated in the fourth version of the China International Import Expo -CIIE- Fair.

We recognize that the mining operation has impacts on the environment, which must be carefully managed. We focus particularly on managing water and biodiversity, with the participation of communities.

Zijin-Continental Gold, Agrosavia, Corporación Tecnológica Católica de Occidente (Tecoc) and the municipalities of Buriticá, Giraldo, Cañasgordas and Santa Fe de Antioquia, joined forces to increase the area planted with hartón Dominican plantains and increase the yield per hectare.
