Continental Gold and the local community have signed two conservation agreements that will contribute to the conservation of the Colchones basin and reforestation activities located in the village of Mogotes in the municipality of Buriticá, Colombia. The recent reforestation activities in the area aim to protect the creek basin while improving the quality and quantity of water that feeds the aqueduct in Mogotes. Other benefits include increased biodiversity for plants and wildlife in the region.
